Georgina Cave

Based in London’s Primrose Hill, Cave Interiors is a House & Garden Top 100 interior design studio, specialising in high end residential projects across the UK and overseas. Led by its creative director & founder Georgina Cave, with her daughter Anouska by her side, the Cave philosophy goes deeper than layouts and colour schemes. With sustainability central to our approach we create beautiful, stylish and functional homes that stay true to the architecture of the building and most importantly to the people who inhabit them.

With what has been described as “an infectious passion” for architecture, design, art and antiques, Georgina soon became known for creating beautiful but real homes that ‘work’ both ergonomically and aesthetically.

Today, Georgina leads a small team of designers to deliver spatial planning and end-to-end design for old and new-build house projects, alongside some of the UK’s leading architects. This now extends to the complete renovation of historic and landmark listed buildings.

Sourcing is a particular strength, drawing on long established relationships with specialist suppliers, craftsmen, builders and a vast network of international sources for salvage, antiques and unusual items.

Georgina has appeared on BBC1’s ‘Britain’s Empty Homes’ and extensively in the book ‘Casual Living’ by Judith Wilson, one of the UK’s leading interiors writers. Cave Interiors’ work is regularly featured in the UK’s leading interiors magazines and the studio has been selected for House & Garden’s Top 100 list of interior designers for the last three years running.
