Every interior design project starts with our client’s brief from understanding their dream home, the design styles they love and critically how they live, work and play. Re-use, sustainability and green living is at the forefront of each project we undertake and will be considered from hereon in as we work through the project.

We create & design functional spaces that flow beautifully. Our interior design process starts by drawing up the layouts of each floor, maximizing every inch of space whilst carefully considering the use of each area. These layouts, once confirmed, act as a spring-board for our schemes with elevations bringing to life our ideas.

Cave Interiors' work extends to the restoration and renovation of historic and landmark listed buildings. These include English Heritage protected houses as well as a range of listed buildings. We have expert knowledge of the Arts & Crafts movement having restored several, with two recently completed Lutyens style houses protected by London’s Hampstead Garden Suburb Trust.

We source the fixtures and fitting, whether vintage, antique or new, from the floor and wall finishes to the sanitary ware & bathroom accessories, door & window furniture, light fittings, furniture & soft furnishings and more, presenting each client with options to suit their schemes and budget.

We design the majority of our client’s kitchens in-house and commission their manufacture with trusted cabinet makers experienced in all aspects of cabinetry, furniture and kitchen manufacture. Our kitchens are bespoke, functional and innovative, inspired by the client’s needs with budget always in mind.

We work on the details of every package throughout the interior design & build process, including providing design concept drawings of fully bespoke joinery and furniture, whether fitted or freestanding, working closely with specialised craftspeople and workshops to deliver one of a kind, pieces that enhance the spaces they inhabit.

Good lighting design is a critical part of our interior design services that will change the mood of any interior, accentuating important features at the touch of a switch. We incorporate all forms of lighting and small power design to supply good task and mood lighting, with detailed drawings showing where every type of light, socket and switch will be placed.

We introduce schemes, drawing on our love of colour and extensive knowledge of wall finishings, furnishing fabrics and furniture. Presenting our ideas alongside drawings, sample boards and sketches we work with our clients to give them the confidence to combine different materials, colours and textures, allowing the designs to evolve organically.

Once the interior aspect of the build begins, we provide site visits and ongoing design meetings whereby we respond to any changes, provide further information and progress the design further with the client making updates as needed, whether it be for cost control or simply a change of mind.. We oversee all the interior details including any maker’s drawings, to ensure our concept designs are met.
